  1. Once I was my primary school went to a care home to perform to them around Christmas. Me and my friend both played Jingles Bells on our violins and the two budgies they had chirped along. It was so sweet!

  2. If ur getting a budgie only get one or u could get 2 just place them in separate cages across the room from each other or they will bond together and not with u. That’s what I have learned it happened to me hopefully one day I can get another budgie!

  3. I got a budgie but he seems to have no personality. Just sits there and stares at me, never wants to move, never curious about anything new, thinks everything is going to eat him. I've had him a few months now and it just doesnt seem to change. He isnt agressive at all, he steps up and even lets me pet him slowly but when i try to introduce him to new things he just hates it, starts hyper ventilating over something as basic as me hand feeding him millet or trying to give him a piece of apple. I've tried leaving his cage open and leaving him alone… He wont come out, tried bribing him out, wont come out, pretty much every basic trick in the book. Starting to think that the previous owner seriously damaged him and its quite sad. Any advice for a new bird owner? i spend atleast 5-6 hours with him a day and still no progress at all.

  4. My husband and I have had a skyblue budgie since 6-14-2016. The pet store said it don't know the sex yet because it's still under adult age. It's nostrils hasn't changed from white to blue or green yet. It is still a very wild behavior…and won't make up it's mind if it likes us or not. We can't get it to sit on our fingers. Why must it take so long to tame it?

  5. It's been many months since I got mine, and they're so timid and scared of everything!
I change their water and clean and fill up their food bowl every day, but they don't trust me! I sat in front of them every day, and all I got was the birds cautiously eating in front of me.
Are some birds very timid while others aren't?
    Please help!

  6. Hello. Could I.ask for some advice I have had my budgies for a few weeks. I did these steps and it helped me. However I have been having some difficulty with them trusting my hands, I have tried with a perch and the like that so I have tried my hand with a small amount of millet but they still don t like it. What should I Do? Thank you.

  7. I've had my budgie for about 4 months and he is still acts like when I first got him. He does chrip and head bob sometimes but he never plays with his toys and he freaks out over the smallest thing, He will get on my finger and let me pet him but not until he gets worn out from freaking out and he has escaped his cage two times while I was cleaning and the second time he escaped he really scared me because he could have killed himself by flying into a painting. When I got him he was scared and I got him because my other bird died (he played and chriped) and I got him because he was the only male bird there and I wanted to get a male again because they can learn more words. If you (or someone else) read this please help me out!!
